Blogging Tips from Experts

To be honest, I am not successful yet in blogging as this blog is just new ( hopefully, we’ll get there). What I am actually sharing in this post are some blogging tips from well-known successful bloggers like John Chow.
Well, I am not absolutely sure if the ideas they’ve shared are all catalysts why they are earning $50K ( more or less) a month in blogging. But, as I have checked their websites’ traffic, I would say that their blog earnings are realistic.
Here are some tips for blogs – for blogging success, according to them. I share to you what I have learned from them:
- Regular Updates. Regular updates are necessary most especially when you are just starting. According to John Chow, nothing kills the blog faster than lack of updates. There is a need for you to fulfill your commitment in blogging. Whether you set the blog posting frequency as 1 post per week or 10 posts per day – you must do it as scheduled. And you must do it right. A non-updated blog is a dead blog.
- Blogging should not just be income centered. If you blog only for the sake of making money, then you will fail. Remember, readers read blog in search for useful information and that you need to make an effort to right useful information in your chosen niche. Post useful, unique, and substantial contents – the rest will follow.
- Be Personal. According to many blogging experts. Blogs are more effective when their contents are written with personal touch. So, instead of posting content like that of CNN and other big websites, you need to make your posting more personal. Your readers need your opinion.
- Be unique. If you want to stand out, strive to make your site unique. What do we mean by this? Yes, there may be a lot of bloggers discussing the same topic but you can still make it unique by applying techniques that, perhaps, can be done only by you.
- Replying to Comments. Many bloggers forget that blogging is a two-way communication tool. When readers post comments make it sure that you are able to answer them most specially those interrogative comments. By answering questions or by simply thanking them for spending a time to comment is something that matters a lot in building your online reputation and friendship.
- Write not just for Google but for People. Lots of bloggers are anxious about what keywords could rank their posts on top of Google. Mind you, Google follows people. Maybe your post is optimized in terms of content but, is it optimized in terms of readers usability? You should realize that keyword- optimized is not always content-optimized. Make sure to make your content written for readers not just for Google. Make it more substantial and with sense.
So, I think that would be all for now. I’ll be adding more as soon as I learned new tips for blogs and effective blogging.
